Modernizing farms and gardens, increasing farm productivity and improving the quality of consumed food through our services is extremely rewarding for us. Have a look at some of the pilot projects run by our team.
B & R Sustainable Farm
This is a 3.7 Acre Farm located in Kebirigo, Nyamira County, Kenya, operated by two brothers, Raini Benaiah and our managing partner, Raini. The farm utilizes regenerative and ecological principles to grow vegetable, mushrooms grains and herbs. Food cultivation is supplemented by livestock keeping (4 Dairy cows and 22 Kalahari Red goats), poultry farming(300 KARI Improved Kienyeji Chicken and 6 fantail pigeons).
The Farm uses an online management system to manage its input and output and for record-keeping.
The Kitchen Gardens
These are two new projects run independently by Kellia and Raini in their respective residences in Kigali. Raini grew a small kitchen garden that utilises organic kitchen waste to grow kale, chard spinach, tomatoes, squash butternut, eggplants and okra.
Kellia grows green veggies and onion on reused plastic containers and a ladder container.
These are two small scale projects depicting healthy production of food, in urban areas, using available resources and minimum space.
